| What Do You Think Of Happiness |

In the world, everyone has his own understanding of happiness, just take me for example. In my inner world, happiness embraces five aspects, such as physical health, appropriate amount of wealth, social status, friendship and family.
Health plays a vital role in one’s life. A man who is physically healthy is much happier than the disabled, for the former is normal and he doesn’t need to suffer from illness. Just supposing that a man is quite rich, but he can never walk, what’s the point of possessing so much wealth? Thus, if you are normal and once you feel depressed, you can comfort yourself by thinking “I’m still healthy, which is my best wealth and happiness.”
Certainly, having an appropriate amount of wealth is also quite important, because it can prevent you from hunger, thirst, cold and so on. If one is strong, but he can’t find a job to make a living, he can’t support himself. I don’t think he is happy. Thus, an amount of wealth can help one live a cosy and comfortable life.
Social status is meaningful for a man. A man who enjoys a high reputation may be delighted, for he’s always respected by others wherever he goes. Anyone has self-esteem, when one gets much honor, he would think that he’s happier than others.
When it comes to friendship, I don’t think it’s unnecessary to emphasize the importance of it. We all have many friends, and we have been making friends since we were children. Human beings are always eager to communicate with others, because we are alone and we may feel lonely.
What I think the most important is family. A harmonious family can make one feel contented and beloved. Family members are those who are always concerned for each other, and once one of the members runs into trouble, the others will help him at any rate, even at the sacrifice of themselves. Just as the old saying goes “Harmony in the family leads to prosperity in all undertakings”. Love makes up a family, that is to say, if a family is full of love, the family must be happy. No matter what happens, family is always the foundation of other things, such as wealth, friendship and social status.
